Me and my maker

Me: I feel lonely. I want friends
God: Ok, I will see to it
After two weeks
God: Are you not happy now? I gave you enough friends.
I looked at him.
God: How should I decipher that?
Me: I am getting lost in the crowd. I have lost touch with myself. I want my solitude back.
God: Shut up and get lost.

  1. This is an interesting dialogue... short and to the point yet saying a lot about a contradiction that sometimes makes me think in general "humans... can't live with them, can't live without them..."
I guess the key isnt just to have or find 'friends' but real ones, perhaps even just one in the world, who don't end up draining you or making you feel like you're losing touch with your self... or perhaps again, it's about striking a balance and spending just enough time with people while still preserving the important time to delve back into oneself.
I also liked the entry about your grand-father, very touching and rather inspiring :)

  2. Yeah..There is no wonder in you being able to get its essence.
Life is all about being with people who can curb our loneliness without spoiling the beauty of our solitude.
And there can't be many in that list.
But that is perhaps the hardest thing in world..people with whom we can share our silence.
